Breony has practiced exclusively in family law since her admissions 2016. Prior to working at Stone Group, Breony worked in a top tier family law firm for approximately 4 years, where she was trained in complex parenting and financial matters in both divisions of the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia.
Breony has appeared in the child protection and domestic violence jurisdictions of the Magistrates Court of Queensland and has experience in concurrent applications before the various Courts.
Prior to practicing, Breony was employed within a commercial litigation practice of a national law firm. She draws upon this commercial experience to offer her family law clients pragmatic and big picture advice. Breony endeavours to assist clients reach a negotiated outcome in the first instance but is confident and competent at litigating matters if necessary.
Breony is a natural problem solver. She is committed to achieving positive and efficient outcomes for her clients, so they can move forward with their new lives post separation.
Breony calls on her respectful working relationships with allied professionals to ensure her clients have access to the best experts and support during their matter.
Breony is a member of the Queensland Law Society and the Family Law Practitioners Association.
Outside of the law, Breony likes to be outdoors spending time with her dogs and horses, hiking or at the beach.
