Rebekah Finlayson (née Lamb) has practised solely in the area of family law since 2013, holding qualifications in both Law and Social Justice.

Prior to practising, Rebekah worked in top tier law firms in both Brisbane and Perth for approximately 7 years. During her time in these firms Rebekah gained experience in commercial litigation and personal injury law and is able to draw on this experience to provide more comprehensive advice on the broad ranging issues faced by her clients.

Rebekah was drawn to practise in family law as it allows her to apply her knowledge and skills in a way that assists people through what can be the most vulnerable times in their lives.

Rebekah is committed to achieving positive outcomes for her clients and will endeavour to reach a negotiated outcome at the earliest opportunity, with litigation being a last resort. She is aware of the effect lengthy and costly court proceedings can have on clients and therefore endeavours to resolve all matters as amicably and efficiently as possible, allowing her clients to move forward with their lives.

Rebekah has assisted clients in a wide range of family law matters including complex property and parenting matters, spousal maintenance, child support, divorce, as well as domestic violence matters. Rebekah is a member of the Queensland Law Society and the Family Law Practitioners Association.
